How We Help Children’s Dreams Reach Space
UNITY Charity Foundation for Cancer Support
Together with the Roscosmos State Corporation — we create projects that bring hope and turn dreams into reality. One of them is the The Art Rocket.

Children with cancer from 13 countries have drawn their dreams — and very soon, those drawings will be placed on the outer shell of the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle, carrying their wishes straight to the stars.

On November 27, our Art Rocket will lift off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome!

A Special Mission for the Crew of Soyuz MS-28

The crew commander — cosmonaut, Hero of Russia, and UNITY Ambassador Sergey Kud'-Sverchkov — together with his team, has a very special mission: to take the heartfelt dreams of children battling cancer into space so that they may come true.

The crew also includes Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Mikhayev and NASA astronaut Christopher Williams.

We first met Sergey during his mission to the ISS in 2021, when he welcomed the "Dreamer" spacesuit covered with children’s drawings and sent a video message to our young patients.

Since then, we’ve visited many cities in Russia and abroad together — painting dreams in hospitals, inspiring children, and sharing stories about space and the power of kindness. Sergey personally visited each child’s hospital room, shook hands, talked with them, encouraged them, and gave each one a little knitted cosmonaut named Yura, lovingly created by his wife Olga.

Sergey has become part of our big UNITY family, an ambassador, and now —

the commander of The Art Rocket crew!

The World’s First Rocket Carrying Children’s Dreams!

Now, the dreams of children from 13 countries will not just travel to space on paper — for the first time in history, they will be placed directly on the surface of a real rocket.

This is a complex and unique process that involves an entire team of specialists. But this is exactly how we want to show children everywhere: their dreams matter, they are heard, valued, and adults are ready to make the impossible happen for them.

It will be the world’s first and most beautiful rocket with meaning — a rocket of hope and humanity.

We’ll decorate Baikonur with a cosmic mural!
Joining the UNITY team is our friend — the talented Brazilian artist and creator Pas Schaffer.

Pas is a member of the international Global Shapers community who connects art, science, and the dream of space through his large-scale murals showcased in 17 countries around the world. His works turn city walls into vibrant universes filled with symbols, inspiration, and hope.

In September, together with Pas, we painted a magical rocket on the wall of Almirante Tamandaré School in the Brazilian city of Foz do Iguaçu.

Now, at Baikonur, a new cosmic creation by UNITY and Paz Schaffer will come to life — a symbol of friendship, art, and the power of human dreams.
